H.E. Shaikh Mohammed Bin Isa AL Khalifa- Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), Mr. Talal Al- Zain-Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company and three representatives from Bahrain Arcapita attended the conference of IISS-CITI India Global Forum 2008, which was organized by the International Institute of Strategic Studies between 18th to 20th April 2008.

This bolsters the IISS focus on Asia, following the success of the annual Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore and the annual Manama Dialogue in Bahrain. This conference was divided into plenary sessions and break-out groups. The plenary sessions offered a public platform for Ministers, corporate leaders and global experts to focus on India's emerging role. The break-out groups provided an opportunity for all the participants whether official or experts to explore the key issues thoroughly and to analyse current and future policy trends in a private and off – the record environment.

Recognizing the importance of such Global Forums, the Kingdom of Bahrain participated in this Ist IISS-CITI where all participants from all over the world came together to find ways to improve the global current and future policy trends.
